MTSS in Motion

The IEP Technical Assistance Center (IEP TA Center) TA Specialists present a framework of a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) in the MTSS in Motion video series. This series begins by setting the stage for implementing MTSS in districts or schools offering guidance on the importance of leadership and the infrastructure needed for sustainability. The series continues with information on communication and collaboration, the use of data-based problem-solving, and data evaluation. Finally, the video series wraps up with a more detailed examination of tiers of support and the whole learner approach

Each of the videos in this co-teaching series for teachers has practical insights, ideas, and strategies to help support successful implementation of co-teaching. The end goal is always to better support the diverse needs of each and every student through the implementation of inclusive practices.

Inclusive Instructional Practices

All students are general education students first and deserve equitable access to high-quality instruction and educational/social opportunities available to all students. This session will address potential barriers and solutions to establishing an inclusive culture. Topics that will be covered include Inclusive Instructional Practices, Relationship Building, and Inclusive Instructional Models. Participants will leave with concrete strategies and a variety of ways to apply these practices in order to improve outcomes for all learners.
